Local attractions
The Southern Highlands is well known for its scenic beauty. All the places shown here are within a half hour drive from The Castle.

Belmore Falls, plunging off a sandstone plateau into a deep pool, then into the rainforest gullies of Morton National Park, these falls are perhaps the most striking of all.

Carrington Falls. This beautiful water fall tumbles 50 metres into the Kangaroo Valley. There are cliff top walks with spectacular views from three lookouts of the falls and gorges.

Nellies Glen. Not far from the Carrington Falls, this mystical place has a grotto and pools deep enough to swim in.
