The Castle has two guest bedrooms, each with its own ensuite. The ensuites each have a full size bath and large shower
head. The lounge area (downstairs) has a large wood-fired fireplace and is furnished in period style. A charming area for drinks, snacks, relaxing or practicing the piano. The kitchen has a large fuel stove and an early model gas stove, along with period furniture and fittings. Seating for six people is provided in the kitchen area where you can look out over grassy hills and gardens. The dining room can seat up to eight people. Featuring an antique, carved dining table, this room provides a wonderful ambience for enjoying a relaxed, home-cooked meal. The gardens deserve special mention. Features an 18th century, half tester standard size double bed, a gas-fired open
fireplace and bay windows. Suits two. |
East bedroom |
Fitted with two double beds (one a queen size), this room can accommodate four people. |
